How do I buy Final Fantasy XVI on Steam with crypto?

Final Fantasy XVI comes as two Steam keys on Genghis, the base game and the Complete Edition: pay in crypto, then activate on Steam.

Both keys activate in 75 countries, including the United States, Japan, China and Brazil, as their product pages list. Square Enix developed and published the game, released on Steam on September 17, 2024. You can try the free demo on Steam first, then pay with your coin and register the key.

What does the Complete Edition add?

Both expansions and a few extras, per Steam (checked September 25, 2026): Echoes of the Fallen, set in the Sagespire, and The Rising Tide, with Mysidia and Leviathan, plus the Buster Sword, Curtana and three Orchestrion Rolls. What kind of game is Final Fantasy XVI?

An action RPG: Square Enix describes it as the first fully fledged action RPG in the mainline series, with Clive Rosfield as the hero. Steam lists two modes, one focused on story, with auto evade and simple combo inputs, and one focused on action.

Will the Final Fantasy XVI key work on my account?

Yes, when your Steam store country is one of the 75 on the product page. Steam Support says it cannot remove a region restriction once a key has one, so compare the list with your account country before you pay.

Can I play Final Fantasy XVI on Steam Deck?

How do I activate Final Fantasy XVI?

How quickly do I get the key?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin.

What happens if the key fails?
