How do Genghis Points work, and how do I spend them?

1 Point is worth $0.01 at checkout: you earn Points on orders placed while signed in, and spend them by dragging the Points slider.

Your account starts with 100 Points. You earn more by securing territories and completing monthly missions on The Sovereign, the map on the Rewards page. Points arrive once an order is completed, and you can spend them once your account has $25 in completed orders. Points never expire.

How do I earn Points?

By buying while signed in.

• Territories. The Sovereign is a map of seven spending categories. Every completed order secures territories on it, and you hold a territory by spending in its category during the month.
• Monthly missions. Each territory has its own missions, and new ones come every month. Some pay on your first purchase, others reward spending across the month.
• Invites. Your friend's purchases earn Points for both of you. Read how Invite a friend works.

When do Points reach my account?

When the order is completed, meaning delivered, and only if you were signed in when you paid.

How do I spend Points?

Drag the Points slider at checkout: your Points become a discount before you pay. You choose how much to spend on each order. Spending opens once your account has $25 in completed orders, and from then on Points work on any order.

Do Points expire?

No: Points never expire. Your balance carries over for as long as your account is open.

Do I need to verify my identity to earn Points?

No: Points are tied to your account, not your identity, and an email address is enough to open one.

Where do I see my Points?

In your account's activity log: every Point you earn or spend appears there, with a timestamp.

Why don't I see my Points?

Usually one of four reasons.

• You paid as a guest. A guest order earns no Points and does not move into an account created later. Read why a guest order does not show in your account.
• A different account. Check that you are signed in with the email address you used when you paid.
• The order is not completed yet. Points arrive when the order is delivered.
• You see Points but cannot spend them. Spending opens at $25 in completed orders.
