How do I spot a fake Genghis site, email or support account?

Check the address: the shop is www.genghis.pro, this Help Center is help.genghis.pro, and support writes only from samantha@genghis.pro.

Any site, email address, call or social media account claiming to be Genghis from anywhere else is not our team. Genghis never sees your wallet's private keys or seed phrase, so never share them with anyone writing in our name, and pay only on your own order's payment screen.

Which addresses does Genghis really use?

Three, all ending in genghis.pro.

• The shop: genghis.pro and www.genghis.pro, where your order's payment screen also opens.
• This Help Center: help.genghis.pro.
• Email: samantha@genghis.pro, the only support address. Our order emails come from it too.

Support is email only, with no phone and no live chat with a person, so a call or chat message from "Genghis support" is not us. NOWPayments, our payment processor, can also send a payment email. Read how to contact Genghis support.

What does Genghis never ask for?

Your wallet's keys, a phone number, ID at checkout, or a payment outside your order.

• Keys: Genghis never sees your wallet's private keys, seed phrase or balance. Never share them with anyone who writes to you in our name.
• A phone number: we do not run SMS verification, and codes arrive on screen and by email link, never by SMS.
• ID at checkout: no document upload and no selfie. Above the purchase limits we may ask for ID, before you pay: read why Genghis might ask for your ID and the AML and purchase limits page.
• A payment outside your order: each payment goes to a one-time address made for that order, on its payment screen.

How do I check a link before I pay?

Read the site name in the address bar before you enter anything: the part before the first single slash must end in genghis.pro. A name that only looks close, with extra words, swapped letters or another ending, is a different site. When in doubt, type www.genghis.pro yourself.

I paid on a fake site. Can Genghis get my money back?

No: we cannot recover crypto sent to an address that was not on your Genghis payment screen. A crypto payment is final, and that address is not ours. Report the site to your local police, and send its address to samantha@genghis.pro. If you typed your seed phrase into a fake site, anyone who has it controls your funds, on any site.
