How do I pay from a Ledger?

Pay from a Ledger with the Ledger Wallet app: send the exact amount to the address shown, then check and approve it on your device.

Ledger Wallet, formerly Ledger Live, runs on a computer or phone with your Ledger connected by USB or Bluetooth (checked September 25, 2026).

Which of our coins can I pay from Ledger Wallet?

These, on networks Ledger lists (checked September 25, 2026):

• Bitcoin, Dogecoin and XRP.
• SOL, TRX, BNB, POL and ALGO on their own networks.
• ETH on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Base and Arbitrum One.
• USDT and USDC on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum One, Optimism and Solana, plus USDT on Tron and USDC on Base and Algorand.

Ledger Wallet has no Monero accounts; Avalanche C-Chain, Linea and zkSync Era were not on its pages.

How do I send a payment from Ledger Wallet?

App first, device last, per Ledger's help center (checked September 25, 2026).

1. Press "Copy address" on the payment screen, then click Send in Ledger Wallet.
2. Select the asset, then pick your checkout network on "Select network".
3. Select the account, paste the address, enter the amount under "Send exactly" and click Review.
4. Connect and unlock your Ledger, open the app it asks for, check the address and amount on screen, then approve.

For XRP, paste the tag into the memo field too.

Should I send a small test amount first?

Not to a Genghis payment address. Ledger suggests a small first transfer (checked September 25, 2026), but here a test amount is a short payment that does not complete the order. Check the address on the device instead. Read what happens to a short payment.

Can I connect Ledger Wallet instead of copying?

Yes, from an Ethereum, Polygon or BNB Smart Chain account, as of September 25, 2026. On a computer, "Connect wallet" shows a WalletConnect QR code. In the Ledger Wallet mobile app, tap the WalletConnect icon, scan it and approve on your device. On a phone, "Open in wallet" follows your phone's default for payment links, not necessarily Ledger Wallet.

Which coin pays the fee, and where is the transaction ID?

The network's own coin, in the same account: USDC in an Ethereum account needs ETH there, and Arbitrum or Optimism needs ETH on that network. After you approve, "View details" tracks it; later, open the account's operations, tap the transfer and choose "View in explorer" (checked September 25, 2026).
