How do I redeem a Netflix gift card?

Go to netflix.com/redeem, enter the code, click Redeem, then type your Netflix account email or create a new account.

Netflix's help page names netflix.com/redeem as the place to redeem, and the card's currency must match your Netflix bill (checked September 25, 2026). Several cards can go on one account, one after another, and Netflix uses them in the order you redeemed them.

How do I redeem at netflix.com/redeem?

In a browser, per Netflix's help page (checked September 25, 2026):

1. Open netflix.com/redeem.
2. Paste the code from your Genghis order and click Redeem.
3. Already a member? Enter your account's email. New to Netflix? Create an account, choose a plan and set a password; a payment method is optional.
4. On the confirmation screen, select Start Watching or Start Membership.

What do Netflix's error messages mean?

Netflix's help page explains each one (checked September 25, 2026).

• "The code entered is not valid": usually a typo; if the code is right, Netflix suggests trying again after 24 hours.
• "The code you entered has already been used": look for the balance on your Membership or Payment History page.
• "The gift code does not match the country": the card's currency differs from your billing currency.
• "cannot be used with your current payment method": the account is billed through Apple or tied to a package that includes Netflix. For Apple billing, Netflix says to cancel, wait for the account to close, then restart with the card.
• "An error occurred during gift redemption": clear the Netflix cookie at netflix.com/clearcookies, which signs you out, then try again.

How do I check my Netflix balance?

After you redeem, it shows on your Billing Details or Membership page. If it is less than your plan price and no other payment method is on file, Netflix shortens the billing cycle to match.

Can I change my Netflix account country?

Only after a move: Netflix says you cannot change the account country unless you have recently moved (checked September 25, 2026). You cancel, wait for the membership to end, then restart from the new country. Netflix goes by currency, while our pages name a country: what the country on a gift card means covers the difference.

What if my Netflix code still doesn't work?
