Open PlayStation Store on the web, a PS5, a PS4 or the PlayStation App, choose Redeem Code and enter the 12 digits of your code.
PlayStation's help page says the voucher must be for the same region as your account, and the account region cannot be changed (checked September 25, 2026). The credit goes to the wallet of the account signed in when you redeem, and cannot move to another account.

Where do I enter a PlayStation Store code?
In five places, per PlayStation's help page (checked September 25, 2026). Enter the 12 digits, then confirm.
- Web: on store.playstation.com, select your profile, then Redeem Code.
- PS5: in PlayStation Store, press the triangle button, then select More and Redeem Code.
- PS4: at the bottom of the PlayStation Store sidebar, select Redeem Codes.
- PlayStation App on iPhone or Android: tap the PS Store icon, the menu icon on the right, then Redeem Code.
- At checkout: in the payment method menu, select Redeem Codes and Gift Cards.
What do PlayStation's error codes mean?
Each code names one cause, per PlayStation's error pages (checked September 25, 2026).
- WC-40371-5: not valid. The code was mistyped, has expired or is not yet active, belongs to another region, or does not fit your account.
- WS-45480-1: the code's region does not match your account's, and no setting changes that.
- WS-45479-9: already redeemed. Check your wallet's transaction history and every account on your consoles.
- E-82000138: your wallet would go over its maximum. Spend some funds first.
- E-82000113: PlayStation could not verify the code. Try again later.
How do I check my PlayStation wallet balance?
On the web, open PlayStation Store, your profile icon, then Payment Management: the balance is at the top. On a PS5 it shows next to your profile icon under More; in the PlayStation App, under the menu's Payment Methods.
Can I change my PlayStation account region?
No: PlayStation says the country or region set when you created the account cannot be changed (checked September 25, 2026). Yours is under Account Management, Your Information, Residential Address. Buy the card for that region: what the country on a gift card means shows how we name it.
