A store doesn't accept crypto. How can I still pay with crypto?

Buy that store's gift card with crypto on Genghis and pay with it like any gift card; if it has none, a prepaid Visa or Mastercard can work.

The store takes its own gift card as payment, so your crypto is spent when you buy the card, not at the store. Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it.

1. Find the store's gift card on Genghis, for the country where you shop.
2. At checkout, choose your coin and network, then send the exact amount shown from any wallet or exchange.
3. Redeem the code with the steps on the product page, then pay with it at the store.

Do Walmart, Amazon and Starbucks accept crypto?

Cryptocurrency is not among the ways to pay that their own pages list, but their gift cards are (checked September 26, 2026):

• Walmart: cryptocurrency is not on Walmart's list of payment methods, per its payment methods page, which says: "Use a Walmart Gift Card in store or on Walmart.com." Read how to buy Walmart gift cards with crypto.

What if the store has no gift card on Genghis?

A prepaid Visa or Mastercard bought with crypto can pay wherever its issuer allows. The issuer sets the countries and the merchants: read where you can use your prepaid card, then the guides to a prepaid Visa card and a prepaid Mastercard, or browse the prepaid card catalog.

No KYC at checkout: an email address is all we ask for. Some prepaid card issuers may ask for ID when you activate or load the card. That is the issuer's rule. Purchase limits apply: see the AML policy.
