How do I buy a prepaid Visa card with crypto?

To buy a prepaid Visa card with crypto, pick one of the Visa cards on Genghis, choose your coin and network, and send the exact amount shown.

Visa is a card network, not a store: each prepaid Visa on Genghis is a different issuer product, and the issuer's rules decide where the card works. The issuer may ask for ID when you activate or load the card. Without an account you can buy up to 500 USD per card and per order; with a free account, 2,000 USD.

Where can I use a prepaid Visa card?

Wherever Visa Debit is accepted, within the rules of the bank that issued your card, which sets its fees, limits and use abroad (checked September 25, 2026). Per Visa's gift card page, hotels, car rentals and tipped purchases may place a hold above the bill, which lowers the balance you can spend. A Visa Gift card cannot be reloaded: Visa points to a Visa Prepaid card for that.

Which prepaid Visa cards can I buy on Genghis?

Seven, as of September 25, 2026, each a different issuer product, named here as our catalog names it. The product page shows the current amounts and stock.

You find all of them in the prepaid card catalog. Some amounts sit above your per card limit, explained under "How much can I buy?" below.

Which card works in my country?

The one issued for your country or currency, unless its issuer allows use abroad. Visa says a card marked "Valid only in the United States" is a domestic use only card (checked September 25, 2026), and each product page lists the country or region where the card works. Check it before you pay: restrictions on your own account or region are not refunded when our page was correct.

Will the issuer ask for my ID?

Some prepaid card issuers may ask for ID when you activate or load the card. That is the issuer's rule. The card comes from a bank or an electronic money institution, not from Genghis, and we cannot waive its request. No KYC at checkout: an email address is all we ask for. How much can I buy?

Up to 500 USD per card and per order without an account, and 2,000 USD with a free account. These caps cover prepaid cards spendable anywhere, such as Visa and Mastercard, and the rolling 24 hour and 30 day limits apply as well. How do I pay?

How do I use my prepaid Visa card?

Check that it is active, register it if the issuer asks, then pay with the card details, per Visa's gift card page (checked September 25, 2026):

1. Make sure the card is activated and has enough balance, on the issuer's site.
2. Register the card with the issuer: some issuers only replace registered cards.
3. At an online checkout, enter the 16 digit card number, the expiry date and the CVV, with the billing address used for the card.

When do I get my prepaid Visa?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. Depending on the issuer, what you receive is the card details or a link to claim the card: the product page shows the steps for your card. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. What if my card doesn't work or is declined?

Check the issuer's rules first: whether the card must be activated or registered for online use, and whether it allows payments abroad. Then work through the checks for a code that doesn't work. If a claim link or the card itself shows an error, write to samantha@genghis.pro with your order number and a screenshot of the error.
