Do I need an account to buy on Genghis?

No: guest checkout works on every product, and an email address is all we ask for.

An account is optional. It adds an order history, Genghis Points, a personal invite link and higher purchase limits. A guest order never moves into an account you create later, so if you want an order in your history and earning Points, create the account and sign in before you pay.

What do I get as a guest?

Your code, delivered the same way as with an account. Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. Keep that email: for a guest order, it is your copy of the code.

What does an account add?

Four things a guest checkout does not have.

• Order history. The codes of orders you place while signed in also stay in your order history.
• Genghis Points. 100 Points when you create the account, then more on orders placed while signed in. 1 Point is worth $0.01 at checkout. Read how Genghis Points work.
• An invite link. Your friend's purchases earn Points for both of you. Read how Invite a friend works.
• Higher purchase limits, shown below.

How much higher are the limits with an account?

Ten times higher over 24 hours and five times higher over 30 days.

I bought as a guest. Can I add that order to a new account?

No: a guest order stays a guest order, even if you sign up later with the same email address. It also earns no Points. Read why a guest order does not show in your account.

What do I need to open an account?
