How do I pay with Coinbase Wallet? – Genghis

Coinbase Wallet pays on nine of our networks, Base and Solana included (as of September 25, 2026): send the exact amount shown.

Coinbase Wallet (formerly Base app) has no Tron, TON, XRP or Dogecoin (checked September 25, 2026), so USDT on Tron needs another wallet. On a computer, its browser extension can sign Ethereum-style payments for you.

Which of our coins can I send from Coinbase Wallet?

Most of our Ethereum-style options, per Coinbase's help center (checked September 25, 2026).

Solana (SOL, USDT, USDC) and Bitcoin work too, except in a passkey smart wallet: they need an email, social-login or recovery-phrase wallet, turned on with "Enable Now".

Why can't I pay with XRP, Dogecoin or USDT on Tron?

Coinbase Wallet does not support those networks. Its help center says Dogecoin, XRP, Celo and zkSync Era are unsupported since the classic wallet closed on August 15, 2026, and Tron and TON are not on its list (checked September 25, 2026). Pay those from another wallet, or read what to check when you pay from an exchange.

Can I connect Coinbase Wallet on a computer?

Yes, with the browser extension for Chrome or Brave (checked September 25, 2026). On the Ethereum-style pairs, except USDT on Optimism, the button at the top reads "Pay with Coinbase Wallet" or "Pay from wallet": approve it in the extension. Skip "Connect wallet" and its QR code, because Coinbase says the app no longer connects to a site on another device. On a phone, "Open in wallet" may open a different wallet app than Coinbase Wallet.

How do I send from the Coinbase Wallet app?

From the Payments tab, as Coinbase's help center lists it (checked September 25, 2026).

On the payment screen, press "Copy address".
In the app, open the Payments tab and select Send.
Choose the asset held on the network you picked at checkout, enter the amount under "Send exactly", then select Send.
Paste the address, or scan the QR code shown on another screen, then review and confirm.
