Check your prepaid card balance on the issuer's own site or app, using the card or voucher details we delivered to you.
Each issuer runs its own balance page, listed below. If the balance looks low, a merchant hold, a voucher fee or an expiry date can explain it. Check only on the issuer's page: Neosurf warns never to enter a PIN on any other site.

Where do I check my balance?
On the issuer's page for your card (checked September 25, 2026):

A merchant cannot show a Vanilla Visa Japan balance, per its issuer. For a card not listed, use the issuer named on its product page.
Why is my balance lower than what I bought?
Usually a hold or a fee, per the issuers (checked September 25, 2026):
- Holds: hotels, car rentals and restaurants may authorize more than the bill, and the extra stays blocked until the final amount posts.
- Monthly fees on vouchers: Neosurf charges EUR 3 a month after 3 months without use and CASHlib EUR 5 a month from 3 months after issue; paysafecard lists its own fees, country by country, on its site.
- Expiry: Mastercard eReward funds expire with the card. Rewarble vouchers last 12 months, Crypto Voucher codes 180 days, Bitsa vouchers 3 months and Blue Prepaid cards 12 months.
