How do I redeem an Apple Gift Card?

In the App Store, tap your photo or initials, choose Redeem Code, then Enter Code Manually and type the code from your Genghis order.

Apple's redeem guide covers iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, the Wallet app in some countries and the Apple Music or Apple TV app on a Windows PC (checked September 25, 2026). The value becomes Apple Account balance. Apple says a card redeems only in its country or region of purchase.

Where can I redeem an Apple Gift Card?

On the devices in Apple's gift card redeem guide (checked September 25, 2026):

• iPhone, iPad or Apple Vision Pro: in the App Store, tap your photo, initials or My Account, then Redeem Code.
• Mac: in the App Store, click your name in the sidebar, then Redeem Code.
• Windows PC: in Apple Music or Apple TV, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Redeem.
• Wallet on iPhone, in some countries: tap your Apple Account card, then More, then Redeem.

Android devices and Apple TV are not on Apple's list.

What do Apple's error messages mean?

Apple's troubleshooting page explains each message (checked September 25, 2026).

• "Card is not valid": check characters that look alike, such as B and 8, D and O, G and 6, S and 5, Z and 2.
• "Card has already been redeemed": sign out of the App Store and back in on all your devices, then check your balance.
• Must be redeemed in a different country or region: the card belongs to another country's store, and Apple does not redeem across borders. See what to do after buying for the wrong country.

How do I check my Apple Account balance?

Tap your photo, initials or My Account in the App Store: the balance appears below your name (checked September 25, 2026). On a Mac it shows in the App Store sidebar. Family members cannot spend it.

Can I change my Apple Account country?

Yes, once your balance is spent to zero and blocking subscriptions, preorders and rentals have ended. The setting is in Settings, your name, Media & Purchases, Country/Region. Our product page names each card's country: what that country label means.

What if my Apple code still doesn't work?

Send us a screenshot of Apple's message within 30 days. Refunds within 30 days if a code fails at first redemption, arrives incomplete or never arrives, or our page showed the wrong region.
