Does Walmart accept crypto?
No: cryptocurrency is not on Walmart's list of payment methods (checked September 25, 2026). Walmart's payment methods page lists debit and credit cards, pay by bank, gift cards, Walmart Balance, HSA and FSA cards, benefit cards, EBT cards in participating states, and PayPal. Paying Genghis in crypto for a Walmart gift card gives you a balance that Walmart already takes.
Which Walmart gift cards can I buy on Genghis?
Three, as of September 25, 2026, one per country. The product page shows the current amounts and stock.
- Walmart USD, for the United States: 5 to 500 USD.
- Walmart Canada: the product page lists the amounts.
- Walmart China: 10 to 1,000 CNY.

Which country's card should I buy?
The card for the country where you shop at Walmart. Walmart's gift card terms say its card works at any Walmart or Sam's Club location in the US or Puerto Rico, in the Walmart app, on Walmart.com, on SamsClub.com and with Walmart Business (checked September 25, 2026): that is the Walmart USD card. Walmart Canada and Walmart China are separate cards, and each product page lists the country where the code works.

How do I pay?

How do I redeem my Walmart code?
Save it to the wallet in your Walmart account, per Walmart's help page (checked September 25, 2026):
- Open the Walmart app or go to Walmart.com and select Account.
- Select the Settings gear icon at the top right, then Wallet.
- Select Add new payment method, then Gift Card.
- Enter the card number and PIN, add a nickname if you want one, and select Save card.
Do Walmart gift cards expire?
No: Walmart says its gift cards never expire (checked September 25, 2026). Its terms also say a Walmart gift card cannot pay for another gift card, precious metals, or financial products and services, and that gift cards are not returnable or refundable for cash except where state law requires.
When do I get my Walmart code?
Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin: read how and when you get your code.
What if my Walmart code doesn't work?
Check that the card's country matches the Walmart site or app you use, then run our checklist for a code that is rejected. If it still fails, write to samantha@genghis.pro with your order number and a screenshot of the error.
