PlayStation Store does not take cryptocurrency, and a code's region must match your account's region, which cannot be changed (both checked September 25, 2026). A gift card bought with crypto becomes wallet funds on your account; our catalog lists these as PlayStation Network gift cards. Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms.

Does PlayStation accept crypto?
No. In the US, PlayStation Store takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Cash App Pay, and no cryptocurrency (checked September 25, 2026). A PlayStation Store gift card bought with crypto becomes wallet funds, which you then spend in the store.

Each country card has its own set of face values inside the range. The product page shows the current amounts and stock. The PlayStation wallet top ups page lists every region; the PlayStation US card, the PlayStation UK card and the PlayStation France card are good starting points.
Which country's card should I buy?
The card for your PlayStation account's region. PlayStation's help page says the voucher code needs to be for the same region as your account, and the account region cannot be changed (checked September 25, 2026). The Middle East cards are all in US dollars but are still country cards: pick the one for your account's country, since a shared currency is not enough. If PlayStation Store rejects a code, the checks for a gift card code that doesn't work start with the region.
How do I pay?

How do I redeem my PlayStation Store code?
On the web at store.playstation.com, on a PS5 or in the PlayStation App, per PlayStation's help page (checked September 25, 2026).
- Open PlayStation Store on the web and select your profile at the top.
- Select Redeem Code.
- Enter the 12 digits of the code carefully and select Continue.
- The credit is added to your wallet.
On a PS5, press the triangle button in PlayStation Store, select More, then Redeem Code. In the PlayStation App, tap the PS Store icon, open the menu and choose Redeem Code. You can also enter a code at checkout, under Redeem Codes and Gift Cards.
Can I move PlayStation credit to another account?
No. PlayStation says funds and content cannot be transferred between accounts, so redeem on the account you play on (checked September 25, 2026). Wallet top up codes for a child account must be redeemed on the family manager's account.
When do I get my code?
Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. With a Genghis account, the code also stays in your order history, which helps if you redeem later on a PS5. How and when you get your code explains the rest.
What if my PlayStation code doesn't work?
Check the region first, then whether the code was already used: PlayStation codes are single use, and some carry an expiry date printed on the voucher (checked September 25, 2026). Refunds within 30 days if a code fails at first redemption, arrives incomplete or never arrives, or our page showed the wrong region.
