Does Amazon accept crypto?

No. Amazon.com's payment options include credit and debit cards, Amazon gift cards and other methods, but no cryptocurrency (checked September 25, 2026). The route that works uses something Amazon already takes: a gift card bought with crypto becomes Amazon balance, and that balance pays for eligible orders.

Which Amazon gift cards can I buy on Genghis?

Each card comes in set amounts between the lowest and highest value, not every amount in between. The product page shows the current amounts and stock. Every card is on the Amazon gift cards page, including the Amazon United States card, the Amazon UK card and the Amazon Germany card.

Which country's card should I buy?

The one for the Amazon site where your account shops. An Amazon gift card spends only on the Amazon site of the country it was issued for: Amazon.com, Amazon.de and the rest keep separate balances. Amazon's help page says Amazon.com cards cannot be used at Amazon properties outside the United States (checked September 25, 2026). How do I redeem my Amazon code?

An Amazon.com card goes into your balance at amazon.com/gc/redeem; a card for another country goes into that country's Amazon site. The steps below are per Amazon's help page (checked September 25, 2026).

1. Sign in to the Amazon account that should receive the balance.
2. Open Redeem a Gift Card: on Amazon.com it is at amazon.com/gc/redeem.
3. Enter the claim code from your Genghis order and select Apply to Your Balance.
4. Shop as usual: the balance applies automatically to your next eligible order. You can also enter a claim code at checkout.

What can an Amazon balance pay for?

Eligible Amazon orders, with exclusions Amazon sets (checked September 25, 2026). The balance cannot buy other gift cards, prepaid open loop cards (cards that work at many stores) or certain third party gift cards. Once redeemed, it cannot move to another Amazon account, so redeem it on the right one. On Amazon.com, gift card balance issued after October 1, 2005 does not expire, and Amazon does not charge fees on it.

When do I get my code?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. What if my Amazon code doesn't work?

Check first that the card's country matches the Amazon site you are signed in to, then look at your Amazon balance: an earlier attempt may have worked. Refunds within 30 days if a code fails at first redemption, arrives incomplete or never arrives, or our page showed the wrong region.
