Does Steam accept crypto?
No: Steam stopped accepting Bitcoin in 2017, in an announcement titled "Steam is no longer supporting Bitcoin" (checked September 25, 2026). Steam shows the payment methods for your region at checkout; for the US, its refund page names cards and PayPal. A Steam Wallet code bought with crypto becomes Steam Wallet funds, and Steam says those funds buy games, software and any other item sold on Steam.

Which country's Steam card should I buy?
Buy the card in the currency of your Steam Wallet. Steam's redeem page says a code in another currency is converted to the currency of your Steam Wallet upon redemption, but Steam's Wallet FAQ also lists limiting redemption to your wallet's currency among its steps against scams (checked September 25, 2026). How do I pay for a Steam Wallet code?

How do I redeem a Steam Wallet code?
On Steam's redeem page, signed in to the account that should get the funds. Per Steam's help page (checked September 25, 2026):
- Log in to your Steam account.
- Open the Redeem a Steam Gift Card or Wallet Code page at store.steampowered.com/account/redeemwalletcode.
- Enter the code in the Steam Wallet Code field and click Continue.
- Check the balance next to your profile name: the value is added to your Steam Wallet in your wallet's currency.
Redeem on the account you actually play on. Steam says Wallet funds cannot be gifted, withdrawn or transferred to another Steam account.
Is Steam ending its gift cards?
Only the physical cards sold in shops. Valve is ending physical Steam Gift Cards at retail and expects stores to be out of stock by the end of 2026; existing cards stay usable and digital gift cards continue (Steam's Wallet FAQ, checked September 25, 2026). A code from Genghis is digital: you get it on screen and through the link in our email, with no card to collect.
When do I get my Steam code?
Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. Copy the code from either place and paste it into Steam's redeem field instead of typing it. More in how and when you get your code.
What if my Steam code doesn't work?
Check the currency and your Steam Wallet balance first, then write to us. An earlier attempt may already have added the funds, so look at the balance before you try again. If the code still fails, write to samantha@genghis.pro with your order number and a screenshot of Steam's error.
