To buy a prepaid Mastercard with crypto, choose a Mastercard listing on Genghis, pay with your coin and network, and send the exact amount.

Mastercard runs the card network; a bank or electronic money institution issues each card, sets its rules, and may ask for ID when you activate or load it. As of September 25, 2026, Genghis lists nine prepaid Mastercard products. Each card and each order is capped at 500 USD without an account and 2,000 USD with one.

Where can I use a prepaid Mastercard?

Wherever Debit Mastercard is accepted, online, mail and phone purchases included, per Mastercard's FAQ (checked September 25, 2026). Mastercard adds that you may need to register the card with the issuer for online and phone purchases, and that not every merchant lets you split a purchase between the card and another payment method. The card works until its balance is used up or until the expiration date shown on it.

Which prepaid Mastercards can I buy on Genghis?

Nine, as of September 25, 2026, each a different issuer product, named here as our catalog names it. The product page shows the current amounts and stock.

Which card works in my country?

Start with the card issued for your country or currency, because use abroad is the issuer's call: Mastercard says not all prepaid and gift card issuers allow ATM or foreign transactions (checked September 25, 2026). Each product page lists the country or region where the card works, so read it before you pay. Restrictions on your own account or region are not refunded when our page was correct.

Will the issuer ask for my ID?

Some prepaid card issuers may ask for ID when you activate or load the card. That is the issuer's rule, and Genghis cannot waive it. Mastercard notes that activation and registration requirements vary by card, and that registration is needed to reload a card, to get Zero Liability Protection or to replace it (checked September 25, 2026). How much can I buy?

Without an account, 500 USD per card and per order; with a free account, 2,000 USD. The AML and purchase limits page sets these caps for prepaid cards spendable anywhere, such as Mastercard and Visa, next to the rolling 24 hour and 30 day limits. How do I pay?

How do I use my prepaid Mastercard?

Activate it, register it if the issuer requires, and pay with the card details, per Mastercard's help pages (checked September 25, 2026):

1. Activate the card as the issuer instructs.
2. For online or phone purchases, register the card with the issuing bank if it asks you to.
3. At checkout, pay with the card number, expiry date and security code wherever Mastercard is accepted.
4. Check the remaining balance with the issuer before each purchase.

When do I get my prepaid Mastercard?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. Depending on the issuer, what you receive is the card details or a link to claim the card: the product page shows the steps for your card. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. Most orders are delivered automatically; a small share is checked by hand before delivery. Delivery is explained in how and when you get your code.

What if my card is declined?

Look at the issuer's rules first: activation, registration for online and phone purchases, and foreign transactions are all set by the issuer.
