Which coins need a memo or destination tag?

Four coins need a tag at Genghis checkout, as of September 25, 2026: XRP, Sei, Terra and Terra Classic.

A tag, also called a memo or destination tag, is a short code sent with your transfer that tells the receiving side which payment is yours. For these coins, the payment screen shows the tag above the address: include it when you send. A deposit sent without the tag cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else.

Which coins need a memo or tag?

These four, each on its own network:

XRP, listed as Ripple at checkout;
Sei (SEI);
Terra (LUNA);
Terra Classic (LUNC).

How does the checkout show that a tag is needed?

With a label in the list and a box on the payment screen.

In the list of coins, these coins carry a "Needs a tag" label.
On the payment screen, a box above the address reads "This currency needs a tag", with the tag itself and a "Copy tag" button.
The address stays hidden until you tick "I will include this tag with my payment."

What happens if I send without the tag?
