Which cryptocurrencies can I pay with?

Pay with Bitcoin, USDT or 300+ other cryptocurrencies, including USDC, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, BNB, Litecoin, XRP and Monero.

At checkout you choose your coin, then the network your wallet sends from, and the list you see there is always the current one. Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC run on several networks, so the network matters as much as the coin. As of September 25, 2026, only USDT on Tron and Monero add a network cost.

Which coins does the checkout suggest?

Six: USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Tron. To pay with another coin, select "Show all currencies", or type in the search box: it finds a coin by name, ticker or network. A coin on several networks asks a second question: which network your wallet sends from.

Which networks can I use for each coin?

The main coins and their networks at checkout, as of September 25, 2026. The checkout always shows the current list.

Why does the network matter?

A transfer on the wrong network is lost. The checkout says so on the network screen: "Pick the network your wallet sends from: a transfer on the wrong network is lost." Choose the network your coins are already on, because Genghis cannot move coins from one network to another for you. When you pay from an exchange, pick the same network in its withdrawal screen. Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum One, Optimism and Avalanche C-Chain addresses all start with 0x and look alike: the address does not tell you the network, the network you select in your wallet does. Is there a network cost at checkout?

Only on USDT on Tron ($3.53) and on Monero ($2.35), as of September 25, 2026. The cost shows on the coin or network card before you choose, and again next to the amount on the payment screen. The amount in your coin includes our exchange-rate margin. Your wallet or exchange may also charge its own sending fee on any network: choose "recipient gets the full amount" or add the fee on top, so the full amount arrives. Why is a network greyed out at checkout?

Your order is below that network's minimum. Each network has a minimum order amount, and when your order is below it, the network card is greyed out and shows the minimum. Pick another network, or add to your order. Read why a network is greyed out at checkout.

Which coins need a memo or destination tag?

XRP (listed as Ripple), Sei, Terra and Terra Classic, as of September 25, 2026. At checkout their card says "Needs a tag". On the payment screen, a box above the address shows the tag with a "Copy tag" button, and the address appears only after you confirm that you will include the tag. A deposit sent without the tag cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else. Read which coins need a memo or destination tag.

Can I pay with Bitcoin on Lightning?

No. Bitcoin is accepted on the Bitcoin network only. Send from a wallet or exchange that pays out on the Bitcoin network, to the address on the payment screen.

Which coin should I pay with?

The one you already hold, on the network it is already on. A few points help you choose.

• Stablecoins keep the value you hold. USDT and USDC track the US dollar, while the price of other coins can move before your payment confirms. Read what a stablecoin is.
• Confirmation speed differs by network. Networks such as Solana and Tron confirm sooner than Bitcoin. Your code appears as soon as the payment confirms on the network.
• The quote has a countdown. The payment screen shows "Quote expires in" next to the amount. If it runs out before you send, the address stays valid: select "Get a new quote" for the updated amount. Read what to do when the quote expires.

Can I pay from an exchange or any wallet?

Yes: any wallet or exchange that can send your coin on the network you pick. On a phone, the payment screen can show an "Open in wallet" link. On some networks you can also connect a browser wallet, or use WalletConnect, and sign the payment there. From an exchange, pick the same network in the withdrawal screen and make sure the full amount arrives after its withdrawal fee. My coin is not in the list. Can I still pay with it?

No: only the coins and networks listed at checkout can be used. Each payment address accepts only the coin and network you chose, and a different coin sent to it can be lost. To ask for a coin we do not list, write to samantha@genghis.pro with its name and ticker.

Do I need ID to pay with crypto?

No KYC at checkout: an email address is all we ask for. Purchase limits apply: see the AML and purchase limits page.

Can I get a refund in the coin I paid with?

Not always. Refunds are paid in USDT or USDC (ERC-20 or BEP-20) or as Genghis Points, 1 to 3 business days after approval, whatever coin you paid with. Read how to get a refund, and in which coin it is paid.
