How do I buy gift cards with Solana?

What is Solana?

Solana is a high-performance proof-of-stake network, and SOL is its native currency: SOL pays transaction fees and secures the network through staking, according to solana.com. Solana is upgrading its software in phases during 2026, with shorter block times and lower rent (solana.com, checked September 25, 2026).

How do I pay with Solana, step by step?

Six steps.

1. Add what you want to the cart, go to checkout and fill in the email address that receives your code.
2. Select Solana (SOL); it is among the coins the checkout suggests.
3. On a phone, tap "Open in wallet". Your Solana wallet opens with the transfer ready: compare the address and the amount with the payment screen, then approve.
4. On a computer, tap "Copy address", paste it into your wallet and enter exactly the amount after "Send exactly". You can also scan the QR code with your phone. Never type a Solana address by hand.
5. Keep a little SOL beyond the amount due, for the network fee. From an exchange, choose "recipient gets the full amount" or add the fee on top.
6. Send while "Quote expires in" is still counting; after that, "Get a new quote" updates the amount for the same address. The code shows on screen as soon as the payment confirms.

What should I know about Solana fees, rent and addresses?

Four Solana rules matter when you pay, all described in Solana's own documentation.

• Fees are paid in SOL. Each transaction pays a base fee per signature, half burned and half to the validator, plus an optional priority fee.
• Accounts keep a minimum balance. Every Solana account must hold a small rent-exempt minimum, and rent is being reduced in phases during 2026. Do not plan to send your whole balance: leave SOL for the fee and the minimum.
• Addresses have no checksum. A Solana address is a base58 string of 32 to 44 characters, and a typo cannot be caught from its format. Copy and paste, or scan the QR code.
• Expired transactions are dropped. A transaction that does not land in time expires and must be signed again. If your wallet shows it dropped or failed, nothing was sent: check your wallet history before you sign again, so you do not pay twice (what happens with two payments).

How long until I get my code?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. Solana is built for short block times, and its 2026 upgrades shorten them further (solana.com, checked September 25, 2026). Most orders are delivered automatically; a small share is checked by hand before delivery.

What if something goes wrong?

Write to samantha@genghis.pro with your order number and the transaction hash (TxID). If you picked one coin or network and sent on another, read what happens after a wrong-network transfer. Can I get a refund in SOL?

No. Refunds within 30 days if a code fails at first redemption, arrives incomplete or never arrives, or our page showed the wrong region. Refunds are paid in USDT or USDC (ERC-20 or BEP-20) or as Genghis Points, 1 to 3 business days after approval. Your refund therefore comes as a stablecoin on Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain, or as Points, not as SOL on Solana. Read how to request your refund.
