How do I buy gift cards with Tron (TRX)?

What is Tron?

Tron is a delegated proof-of-stake blockchain, and TRX is its native token: TRX pays for network resources, staking and voting, according to TRON's developer documentation. Its blocks are produced by elected Super Representatives, 27 of them as of September 25, 2026.

Which networks does Genghis accept for Tron?

How do I pay with Tron, step by step?

Six steps, all by copy and paste or QR code.

1. Put your product in the cart, check out and enter the email address for your code.
2. Choose Tron (TRX), not Tether USD, unless the token you hold is USDT.
3. Tap "Copy address" and paste it into your Tron wallet or your exchange's withdrawal screen. Check that it starts with T. From a phone wallet, you can scan the QR code instead.
4. Type the amount from "Send exactly" to the last digit. If the exchange deducts a withdrawal fee, choose "recipient gets the full amount" or add the fee on top.
5. Keep spare, unstaked TRX in the wallet for bandwidth and any activation fee.
6. Send before the quote expires, or tap "Get a new quote": the address stays the same. Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms.

What should I know about Tron bandwidth, energy and addresses?

Tron charges in resources rather than a simple fee. The points below come from TRON's developer documentation, checked September 25, 2026.

• Bandwidth and energy: Tron meters two resources. Bandwidth covers a transaction's size, energy covers smart contract work. A plain TRX transfer uses only bandwidth; TRC-20 tokens such as USDT also use energy.
• The free allowance is small: each account gets 600 free bandwidth points every 24 hours, about two simple TRX transfers. Beyond that, the network burns TRX or uses resources from staked TRX.
• New addresses cost 1 TRX to activate: sending TRX to an address that has never been used activates it, and the sender pays a 1 TRX account creation fee, plus 0.1 TRX when short of bandwidth.
• Staked TRX cannot pay: unstaking takes 14 days, so only liquid TRX can be sent right away.
• Addresses: 34 characters, starting with T. Compare the whole address after pasting.

How long until I get my code?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. On Tron, wallets and exchanges treat a block as final once it is solidified, meaning enough Super Representatives have built on it (TRON developer documentation). Most orders are delivered automatically; a small share is checked by hand before delivery.

What if something goes wrong?

Can I get a refund in TRX?

No. Refunds within 30 days if a code fails at first redemption, arrives incomplete or never arrives, or our page showed the wrong region. Refunds are paid in USDT or USDC (ERC-20 or BEP-20) or as Genghis Points, 1 to 3 business days after approval. None of these options is TRX, whichever coin you paid with.
