How do I buy gift cards with BNB?

Choose BNB at checkout and send the exact amount to the 0x address shown, on BNB Smart Chain, which the checkout labels BSC.

BNB Smart Chain is the only BNB network accepted; exchanges may call it BEP20. You can pay by connecting your wallet on a computer or with "Open in wallet" on a phone. Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it.

What is BNB?

BNB is the native token of BNB Chain and BNB Smart Chain: it pays transaction fees on BNB Smart Chain and is staked to secure the network, according to BNB Chain's documentation. BNB Smart Chain is compatible with Ethereum's technology, so its addresses use the same 0x format as Ethereum's.

Which networks does Genghis accept for BNB?

What happened to BEP2 and the BNB Beacon Chain?

It is retired. The BNB Beacon Chain, where BNB used the BEP-2 standard and addresses began with bnb1, had its final sunset on November 19, 2024, and no longer accepts transactions (bnbchain.org). An old bnb1 address or a BEP2 option belongs to that chain, not to the one you pay on today.

How do I pay with BNB, step by step?

Seven steps; step 4 depends on your device.

1. Add your gift card to the cart, go to checkout and enter the email address that gets your code.
2. Choose BNB. Its only network is BNB Smart Chain, shown as BSC.
3. Check the payment screen: the 0x address, the QR code and the amount after "Send exactly".
4. On a computer, click "Pay with" and your wallet's name if you use a browser extension wallet, or "Connect wallet" to pair a wallet app through a WalletConnect QR code. On a phone, the button is "Open in wallet". Approve the transfer: the button shows "Check your wallet", then "Sent".
5. Paying from an exchange or another wallet? Tap "Copy address", withdraw on BSC or BEP20, and send exactly the amount shown.
6. Keep some BNB for gas beyond the amount due, and make sure the full amount arrives after any withdrawal fee.
7. Send before the quote expires, or get a new quote for the same address. Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms.

What should I check before sending BNB?

The network, the gas and what your wallet reports. The first two are general BNB Smart Chain rules from BNB Chain's documentation.

• Gas is paid in BNB. BNB Smart Chain uses one standard gas price across the network, but your wallet still needs BNB above the amount due to cover it.
• The same address exists on Ethereum. Because BNB Smart Chain uses 0x addresses, your address is identical on both networks. The network selected in your wallet must be BNB Smart Chain; read what happens when crypto goes to the wrong network.
• Wallet said sent, nothing arrived? After paying through a connected wallet, the screen may say "Your wallet reported sending it, but the transfer has not reached this payment. Write to us about this order before you pay again." Write first, pay later.

How long until I get my code?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. BNB Smart Chain adds blocks within a few seconds, according to BNB Chain's documentation. Most orders are delivered automatically; a small share is checked by hand before delivery.

What if something goes wrong?

Email samantha@genghis.pro with your order number and the TxID. If you withdrew BNB on a network other than BSC, read the wrong-network page. For a transfer that sits pending, read the stuck-payment page. If an exchange fee left the payment short, read the partially paid page. If you missed the countdown, read the expired-quote page.

Can I get a refund in BNB?

Not in BNB itself, but it can arrive on the same network. Refunds within 30 days if a code fails at first redemption, arrives incomplete or never arrives, or our page showed the wrong region. Refunds are paid in USDT or USDC (ERC-20 or BEP-20) or as Genghis Points, 1 to 3 business days after approval. BEP-20 means BNB Smart Chain, so a USDT or USDC refund can go to a BNB Smart Chain address you already hold. Read how refunds work.
