What is a game key?

A game key is a code that unlocks a game, an edition or extra content on one platform, such as Steam or Xbox. On Steam, the game then appears in your library, ready to download. A Steam Wallet code is different: it adds funds you spend later. Read how to buy Steam Wallet codes with crypto.

Which platforms do you sell game keys for?

Mostly Xbox and Steam. On September 25, 2026 we had 412 key listings in stock under 398 product names: editions and regions of a game count separately.

We had no keys for GOG, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect or Battle.net on that date. Stock changes: the game keys catalog shows what is in stock now.

How do I buy a game key with crypto?

In five steps, the same as for any product on Genghis.

1. Open the product page and check the Platform and "Activates in" rows against your account.
2. Add the key to your cart, go to checkout and enter the email address where we send your key.
3. Choose your coin and network: prices are in USD, and the checkout shows the amount in your coin.
4. Send exactly that amount to the address shown. The quote holds for about 20 minutes; the rate is not locked.
5. Wait for the payment to confirm, then activate the key on its platform.

When do I get my game key?

Your code appears on screen as soon as the payment confirms on the network. We also email you a link to it. How long the confirmation takes depends on the coin. Most orders are delivered automatically; a small share is checked by hand before delivery. Read how and when you get your code.

How do I activate my key?

On the platform named in the Platform row of the product page, which also links to how to activate it.

• Xbox: Xbox's help page says to redeem codes at xbox.com/redeem, signed in to the Microsoft account that should get the code, because it cannot be moved later (checked September 25, 2026).
• Nintendo, EA app and other keys: follow the activation steps linked from the product page.

Will my game key work in my country?

Only if your account is in a country the product page lists under "Activates in".

That row reads "Global, any Steam account", a list of countries, or "Not stated". On Steam key pages, a line then says whether the key works for Steam accounts in your country. The Add to cart button never blocks you, so the check is yours.

• Regions differ by game. Steam Support says region restrictions on keys vary by publisher, and that it cannot modify or remove one (checked September 25, 2026). Our two Death Stranding 2: On the Beach keys activate in 31 countries, not on US or Canadian accounts.
• Region in the name. 57 listings had Brazil in the name on September 25, 2026, all Xbox, Nintendo or Microsoft Store PC keys. Xbox's help page says some codes are sold for one country or region only.
• "Not stated". Steam advises asking the seller about region restrictions before buying, so write to samantha@genghis.pro before you pay.

Can I get a refund on a game key?

Yes, in the cases our refund rules cover, within 30 days.

Refunds within 30 days if a code fails at first redemption, arrives incomplete or never arrives, or our page showed the wrong region. Redeemed codes, codes that expired after delivery, and restrictions on your own account or region when our page was correct are not refunded. Refunds are paid in USDT or USDC (ERC-20 or BEP-20) or as Genghis Points, 1 to 3 business days after approval.
